Rebecca St. Jame's "wait" for the one God has for her has ended!

It was a beautiful April wedding that celebrated the couple's life-long wait for each other and it's ending, which started the beginning of a life together planned out by God. Rebecca posted on facebook and twitter: "Today has been a very special day for which I have waited a long time.  I married the love of my life, Jacob.  Thank you so much for your prayers and support." Check out a few pics below!

Congrats Rebecca & Jacob!!!

How God Spoke to Me this Week

Do you ever wonder if there were tears in Heaven when Jesus died? I read an amazing novel this week, "Anything but Normal" by Melody Carlson, about a 17 year old girl who gets pregnant. She decided to give the baby up for adoption. After giving birth she touches her belly, realizing that precious life is no longer there, she breaks down. She misses that life she kept safe for 9 months. The man helping with the adoption lets her know its not to late to keep the baby, but she knows that because she loves that baby so much, it's because she loves her that she is doing the right thing and the best thing for her baby. The man proceeds to mention how the pain she is experiencing is probably similar to the pain God felt when He sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross. Right then and there I broke down and started praying as tears of realization, grief, and then great joy poured from eyes.

How undeserving we are! Look how much He loves us! The story reminded me of the following verse:

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

It's amazing what God can use to speak to you, to open your eyes, and remind you how undeserving you are of His love and salvation; but yet, those He chooses truly are LOVED.
How has He spoken to you this week? He spoke to me through a teen novel I had never even heard of till last month. And by showing me how much He loves me, it has grown my love for Him.

Just A Thought

It's Christmas Eve! But here is just a thought before tomorrow morning's joy and craziness begins. Have you ever thought about what you would do if you were chosen to give birth to Jesus as a teenager in today's world? How about in the past when you could be stoned and not just looked down upon for loosing your purity? Would anyone believe you? Would anyone help or support you? Have you ever wondered what was going through God's mind and what he saw in Mary, when He chose her to deliver the Man who would deliver us? Mary is my favorite person besides my Heavenly Father to read and study about in Scripture. It's amazing, and I am really touched by her story personally being a teenage girl, and she probably was a teenage girl as well when she was pregnant with Jesus. Just a thought...
